AI Models Now Detect Dementia With High Accuracy Using EEG Signals
Researchers at Örebro University have developed two new AI systems that analyze EEG (brain-wave) data to distinguish between healthy individuals and those with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease or frontotemporal dementia.
One model leverages a combination of temporal convolutional and LSTM networks to classify patients with more than 80% accuracy; another, designed to prioritize privacy and efficiency through federated learning, reportedly achieves over 97% accuracy. The system also uses explainable-AI techniques to highlight which parts of the EEG signal influence the diagnosis, aiming to make the tool interpretable for medical professionals.

Google Commits to 1000x More AI Infrastructure in Next 4-5 Years
In order to meet the massive demand for AI, Google wants to double the overall size of its servers every six months, a growth rate that would create a 1000x greater capacity in the next four or five years.
The statement came from the head of Google’s AI infrastructure, Amin Vahdat, during an all-hands meeting on November 6, according to CNBC. Alphabet, Google’s parent company is certainly performing well, so such a requirement may be within its financial capabilities. It reported good Q3 figures at the end of October, and has raised its capital expenditure forecast to $93 billion, up from $91 billion.

ChatGPT’s Voice Mode is no Longer a Separate Interface
ChatGPT’s voice mode is getting more usable. OpenAI announced on Tuesday it is updating the user interface to its popular AI chatbot so users can access ChatGPT Voice right inside their chat, instead of having to switch to a separate mode.
That means you’ll be able to converse with the chatbot and view its responses, including things like shared images, as you talk. Before, you’d be taken to a separate screen where you’d interact with an animated blue circle that represented the interface for ChatGPT’s voice. That screen also had a mute button and an option to record live video, as well as an X to return to the default text-based mode.

Do You Make These 11 Common Mistakes When Using Angular Signals in Production?
Angular Signals are shaking up how we handle state in Angular apps — but a lot of people still don’t quite get them right. So, what exactly are Angular Signals? Think of them as a smarter way to keep track of your app’s data and update the UI only when something really changes. This means your app runs smoother and your code stays cleaner.
In this article, you’re going to look at the 11 most common mistakes folks make when using Angular Signals. But don’t worry — it’s not just about what not to do. You’ll get practical tips on how to dodge these pitfalls and make Signals work for you like a charm. Read more.

Is Angular’s inject() Cheating? The Trick Behind Injection Context
When Angular 14 introduced the inject function, it looked simple enough. A tiny helper that lets you grab a dependency without writing a constructor or a decorator. Nice and clean. But something about it didn’t sit quietly in my mind.
You see, Angular’s dependency‑injection system always works in relation to the “consumer” (the thing asking for the service). One component might get one instance of Service A, while another gets something completely different, simply because each one starts from its own injector and walks upward through the hierarchy until it finds a provider.

Think AI is just for writing code? Think again. Discover 10 mind-blowing ways to use the Gemini CLI to automate your entire workflow—from smart disk cleanup to instant terminal error fixing. 🚀
We've all been there. You open your terminal, stare at a blinking cursor, and think, "I wish I could just tell my computer what to do."
Well, with the new Gemini CLI, you basically can.
Most people think AI coding assistants are just for generating boilerplate React components or explaining what a useEffect hook does. But as someone who lives in the terminal, I've found Gemini CLI to be an absolute superpower for managing my entire machine—not just my code.
Here are 10 real-world, high-value ways I use Gemini CLI every day to save hours of frustration.

7 Secrets Your Framework Docs Don’t Tell You About Standalone Components
This article isn’t about the basics you’ve heard before. Instead, it dives into seven hidden tips and real-world advantages that most people overlook. Whether you’re new to Angular or a seasoned developer, these insights will help you get more from standalone components.
Even if you’re a manager or stakeholder curious about how Angular’s latest features can impact your projects, this guide will give you useful, practical knowledge to make development smoother and more efficient.

Developers Gain New Controls with Gemini 3 Pro Image
A new image model called Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) is now available for developers who want higher-quality image generation. It builds on Gemini 3 Pro and comes a few months after the release of Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image). Since that earlier release, the developer community has used its features in many ways, including keeping characters consistent, restoring photos, and making focused edits in large canvases.
The new model is rolling out in a paid preview and is designed to support multimodal apps through the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI. It produces sharper images, handles text in images with better accuracy, and draws on broad knowledge. When grounding with Google Search is turned on, it can also pull in web content that matches the user’s prompt.
Gemini 3 Pro Image is also being introduced in more developer tools. In Google Antigravity, the company’s agent-driven development platform, coding agents can now use this model to create detailed UI mockups or new visual assets before any code is written. Creative platforms like Adobe and Figma are also adding support.
